Screened Enclosure Cleaning
Screen Enclosure Soft Washing
While screen enclosures do an excellent job of keeping bugs, wildlife, and yard debris out of your outdoor living spaces and pools their exteriors don’t repel pollen. Over time, pollen can accumulate on the structure’s surfaces, forming a film of fungus that makes your enclosure look old or dirty.
Low-Pressure Screen Cleaning
Soft washing is a low-pressure cleaning process commonly used to safely treat and remove organic matter: mildew, bacteria, algae, fungus, moss, lichens in addition to dirt, grime, and spiderwebs.
The screens and framing are sprayed with a disinfectant from the bottom to the top (allows overlapping of cleaner) with starting position either inside or out of the enclosure.
Rinsing the cleaning solutions starts at the top to bottom on the outside of the enclosure first and ending on the inside of the screen enclosure.
Following this order is to ensure no detergents and grime aren’t left inside the area.
*** There is no need for high pressure when cleaning screens, for they create holes, increase pre-existing punctures beyond repair, will push out the rubber seals securing the screen, and damage to paint from the aluminum, wood, or metal framing.
Pool Screened Enclosure Cleaning
Screened pool enclosures can be a challenge when referencing cleaning. The screened enclosure needs to be handled with care. Also, debris like pine needles, acorns, Spanish moss, leaves, and mold can settle in high-up, hard-to-reach areas of the caged structure.
Lanai Screened Enclosure Cleaning
A lanai can be initially described much like a porch: It has a roofed entrance, but more than one “wall” is open to the elements.
Porch Screened Enclosure Cleaning
Porches tend to be an extension of the exterior of a house. Unlike patios, they usually have a roof and have a wood floor. Porches can be located on the front, back, or even side of the home. You can even have multiple porches! The sides of porches may be open or screened. Porches are designed for relaxing, dining, reading, or simply enjoying our Coastal weather.
